Sculptural inflorescences rise from the ground and unfold in umbels all different, whose grouping of all these creates an unusual universe of correspondences, variations on the same theme.
All the plants of the garden belong to the apiaceae family, emblematic from the Mediterranean, remarkable for its extreme diversity within a unity of structure. The juxtaposition of different apiaceae highlights the subtle differences between the species.
From this scientific and poetic angle, they are all worthy of interest and can be used in the composition of the garden.

Sylvestre brings together two garden designers, Étienne Lapleau and Louis Richard, graduated from the National Landscape architecture School of Versailles in France.
The french adjective sylvestre, derived from the Latin sylvestris, «from the forest, wild», shows their interest in wild floras, inspiration of their gardens. Since 2020, they design and build gardens in different regions of France. In 2021, they created the native plants garden Le rivage des cirses for the International Garden Festival – Hortillonnages Amiens, in the north of France.
